Dr Nyan has 20 years experiences on providing epidemiological support to Ministry of Health, Myanmar’s public health emergency responses, epidemiological surveillance and monitoring, outbreak investigation, point of entries and travel health, field epidemiology training program and operational research in cooperation with international partners. He is the country focal point for international health regulations (IHR) and project on development of Myanmar Centers for Diseases Control. Nyan has a Master’s in Public Health and a PhD in Tropical Medicine from Mahidol University. He has Humphrey Fellowship on Health Policy and Management from Emory University and fellowship on Public Health Emergency Management from US CDC.
