Dr Masato Homma, President, Japanese Association for Disaster Medicine; Professor, Emergency and Disaster Medicine, the Faculty of Medicine, Tottori University, Tottori, Japan. Dr. Homma is the professor and chairman of Division of Emergency and Disaster Medicine, Department of Surgery, School of Medicine, Tottori University. He graduated from Tottori University in 1988, and stared his carrier as a neurosurgery and eminency physician at Nippon Medical School in Tokyo. He had been involved in establishment of Japan DMAT and national aeromedical evacuation system between 1995 and 2009 in National Disaster Medical Center in Tokyo. He became the professor of Tottori University in 2009 and he was elected as the president of JADM in 2023.
