Dr. Ali Shahbana is an Emergency Medical Officer with a multifaceted role in the healthcare sector of Brunei. He is the Head of the Emergency Department at the second largest government hospital. Beyond ED, Dr. Ali also serves as the Deputy Medical Superintendent, ensuring the hospital’s clinical excellence and strategic planning. His commitment extends to disaster preparedness as the Deputy Chief for Prehospital and Disaster Preparedness in the Ministry of Health, overseeing the Pre-Hospital service. Dr. Ali is also a member of the Project Working Group 2 in the ARCH project, dedicated to advancing disaster healthcare practices and emergency response in the region.
