Professor Ova Emilia is currently the Rector of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). She is a professor of medical education at the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing UGM. She is actively involved in the Central Board of the Indonesia Obstetrics and Gynecology Association, as the leader of the Committee on Indonesian Obstetrics and Gynecology Association External Affairs and Foreign doctors. Professor Ova Emilia has received notable Award and Honours, including the Certificate of Honour as a partner of the Directorate General of Health Workers who support the Academic Health System Program. Professor Ova Emilia is also the author of dozens of books and international journals.
